Error in P Values

JAMA. 1998;279(6):434. doi:10.1001/jama.279.6.434

In the Original Contribution entitled "Trends in Antimicrobial Drug Prescribing Among Office-Based Physicians in the United States," published in the January 18, 1995, issue of THE JOURNAL (1995;273:214-219), errors occurred in the reporting of P values. In Table 3, the P value for age younger than 15 years should be .04; in Table 4, the P value for cephalosporins (for blacks) should be .03. Other published P values changed somewhat in recalculations, but did not affect statistical significance. Exact P values not provided here are available on request from the authors.
