Affirmative Action and Other Special Consideration Admissions at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine—Correction

JAMA. 1998;279(7):510. doi:10.1001/jama.279.7.510

Incorrect Dosage Information—In the Medical News & Perspectives Health Agencies Update column published in the June 25, 1997, issue of THE JOURNAL (1997;277:1924), incorrect dosage information was introduced in editorial revision. In the first sentence of the third paragraph under the subheading "Advised Folate Intake Falls Short?" the correct dosages for the National Academy of Sciences' recommended daily allowance for folate should be 400 μg per day for pregnant women; 180 μg per day for other women; and 200 μg per day for men.
