Incorrect Data for Absolute Rates of Adverse Effects

In the JAMA Clinical Evidence Synopsis entitled “Systemic Corticosteroid Therapy for Acute Sinusitis” published in the March 24/31, 2015, issue of JAMA (2015;313[12]1258-1259. doi:10.1001/jama.2014.14418), data were incorrect for the absolute rates of oral corticosteroids vs control treatment for adverse effects. The correct data for the absolute rates of adverse effects are 147 of 586 patients (25.1%) for oral corticosteroids vs 167 of 577 patients (28.9%) for control treatment; P = .14. This article was corrected online.
