Incorrect Data in the Abstract and Conclusion

JAMA. 2015;314(15):1647. doi:10.1001/jama.2015.10251

In the Original Investigation entitled “Cost-effectiveness of 10-Year Risk Thresholds for Initiation of Statin Therapy for Primary Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease” published in the July 14, 2015, issue of JAMA,1 there is a typographical error in the Conclusions and Relevance section of the abstract and in the Conclusions section of the article. The microsimulation model was of US adults aged “45 to 75 years” instead of the originally reported “45 to 70 years.” This article was corrected online.
