Incorrect Language and List in the Supplement

JAMA. 2016;316(3):350. doi:10.1001/jama.2016.6956

In the Original Investigation entitled “Epidemiology, Patterns of Care, and Mortality for Patients With Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome in Intensive Care Units in 50 Countries,”1 published in the April 28, 2016, issue of JAMA, incorrect language was used. The first full paragraph of page 798 should have read “more days of invasive ventilation.” Appendix 1 of the online Supplement included errors in the list of national coordinators. This article and its supplement have been corrected online.
