Incorrect Information

JAMA. 2016;316(19):2048. doi:10.1001/jama.2016.16820

In the JAMA Clinical Guidelines Synopsis article entitled “Management of Acne Vulgaris,”1 published in the October 4, 2016, issue of JAMA, a factual error occurred. In the second paragraph under “Benefits and Harms,” it should have stated that estrogen-containing contraceptives are associated with a possible increased risk of “breast and cervical cancers,” not “breast and ovarian cancers.” This article was corrected online.
