by Arnold J. Rudolph, 156 pp, with color illus, Hamilton, Ontario, BC Decker Inc, 1997.
This atlas is a beautiful representation of the career of the late Arnold Jack Rudolph, an internationally known neonatologist at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Tex. For more than 50 years, Rudolph collected photographs of both healthy and unhealthy infants that he used for weekly slide shows for medical students and pediatric house staff. He excelled at teaching and received the outstanding teacher award so many times that he was elected to the Outstanding Faculty Hall of Fame in 1982. The best color photographs of common and rare dermatoses in the newborn from his collection have been compiled in this new book.
