Pruritic Vulvar Nodule in a Black Woman

A 35-year-old black woman presented with a pruritic nodule in the vulvar region. Over the last 3 years, the lesion had progressively enlarged. The patient's medical history was otherwise unremarkable. Physical examination revealed a 1.5 × 0.8 × 0.4-cm, brown, oval nodule with a mildly scaly surface and well-defined borders, located at the left labium majus (Figure 1). The lesion was well circumscribed, nontender, elastic, and freely mobile. The lesion was surgically excised (Figure 2).
