The authors are prolific writers and well-recognized experts within the discipline of ophthalmic oncology and related disciplines. They have produced a beautiful, unique, and clinically useful atlas. The book is divided into 2 sections: one covering tumors and pseudotumors of the eyelids, and the other covering tumors and pseudotumors of the conjunctiva.
The first section contains 15 chapters, the last of which is a well-illustrated but brief discussion of surgical management of eyelid tumors. Each of the other 14 chapters uses a simple, reader-friendly format in which the pathologic characteristics, diagnosis, and treatment of each entity are discussed on the left-hand page. The facing page contains select useful references and 6 related figures, including clinical photographs, photomicrographs, and imaging studies or surgical specimens where appropriate.
