Trigeminal Trophic Syndrome: A Pediatric Case

Trigeminal trophic syndrome (TTS) is a rare condition characterized by unilateral facial ulceration, usually involving the nasal ala, resulting from damage to the trigeminal nerve or its central sensory root. To our knowledge, there are only 2 previously reported1,2 pediatric cases of TTS.
