Findings from a punch biopsy specimen from the left superior lateral arm showed singly distributed, focally grouped, ectatic, thin-walled dermal capillaries (Figure 3; original magnification ×20). An examination of lesional vessels was negative for estrogen and progesterone receptor by immunoperoxidase stain. The histologic features are consistent with unilateral nevoid telangiectasia.
