A 36-year-old white woman presented with a 1-cm well-circumscribed, round, pink, and firm papule on her left forearm (Figure 1). The patient reported that the lesion was asymptomatic and had grown slowly over the 10 months prior to her presentation. Findings from a full skin examination were unremarkable. Her medical history was noncontributory. A shave biopsy was performed (Figure 2 and Figure 3).
