In the January 2001 "Archives a Century Ago," the Centennial Survey asked readers to indicate what they thought was the single development of the 20th century that had the greatest impact on the practice of dermatology. All 551 ballots received by the publication deadline were submitted via the Archives of Dermatology Internet home page, not just the 60 ballots mentioned in the text. We regret the misprint.
