Mark Lebwohl has put together an attractive book with messages for everyone from medical students to experienced practitioners. The term "second edition" does not quite tell the whole story about this atlas, as Dr Lebwohl has included many of the clinical pearls found in another book he edited, Difficult Diagnoses in Dermatology, and expanded the number of acronyms as mnemonic devices. In addition, he has brought the book into the 21st century with information on bioterrorism, while increasing the number and improving the quality of the clinical illustrations.
