Abstract

A method for excision of lower lip leukoplakia is described. Utilization of the Johns Hopkins bull dog vascular clamp to obtain hemostasis simplifies the procedure and shortens the operative time. The absence of recurrent malignant lesions heads the list of advantages of vermilionectomy as compared with other methods of treatment for this condition.
