A case of nevus comedonicus is presented, differing in certain respects from previous descriptions of this nevoid condition. The unusual features of our case include randomly-distributed, bilateral, comedonal lesions on the glabrous skin. Scalp involvement is accompanied by whitening of the hairs within the scalp lesions. Previous authors have emphasized that the lesions of this cutaneous nevus tend to be unilateral in distribution and to follow the dermatomes of the body.
