Abstract

A patient is described with blue, translucent masses of the umbilicus, which were shown to be cyst-like collections of the mucin of pseudomyxoma peritonei. The intraperitoneal condition presented in a superficial, clinically apparent position in this patient because of an umbilical hernia.
