Abstract

A patient with untreated diabetes mellitus and diabetic neuropathy presented with extensive rat bites of both feet. The rat bites occurred without the patient's knowledge while she slept. She responded well to conservative local therapy for the feet and control of the diabetes mellitus with insulin.
