Abstract

An unusual case of intradermal nevus with psammoma body formation of the face in an elderly man is reported. Derivation of the psammoma bodies from degenerative nevus cells is postulated. The possibility of some peculiar biological characteristics accounting for the development of the psammoma bodies in this intradermal nevus is noted.
