The Dermatology Foundation, a national organization established in 1965 to foster support of teaching, practice, and research in dermatology, has appointed a new Executive Director.He is Alfred D. W. Freund, Philadelphia, a former vice-president of Merck Sharp & Dohme International. His appointment, effective immediately, was announced today by Donald M. Pillsbury, MD, Philadelphia, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation and Professor of Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.Dr. Pillsbury also announced that the Dermatology foundation national headquarters has been moved from its New York office to Philadelphia. The new address is 1530 Chestnut St (Suite 809), Philadelphia 19102.Mr. Freund has been active in the pharmaceutical field during his entire business career. A native of Philadelphia, he attended the Episcopal Academy in Philadelphia and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where he received a Bachelor of Science degree.
