Histopathology of Palmar Keratoses Associated With Cancer

The histopathologic features of palmar keratoses of the type frequently seen in patients with cancer are described. These lesions probably originate from the interductal portion of the palmar epidermis. We suggest the term keratosis punctata acquisita to designate this distinctive variety of palmar keratosis.
