Abstract

Two cases of hidroacanthoma simplex are reported. In this growth, well-defined islands of glycogen-laden, small and uniform cells are present within a somewhat acanthotic epidermis. Histologic features supporting Smith and Coburn's concept of sudoriferous nature of these neoplasms are listed.
