Multiple labial and buccal papular lesions were noted in two Israeli young adults. The clinical and histopathologic appearance of the lesions led to a diagnosis of focal epithelial hyperplasia. The purpose of the paper is to add additional information concerning the geographic distribution of the condition, to review the literature, and to discuss the possible etiologic factors.
