Abstract

Two patients with dermal leishmanoid (DL) were successfully treated with intravenous perfusions of amphotericin B. This drug does not appear to have been used for treating DL in the past. Amphotericin B can be used to treat extensive nodular forms of DL when all other standard procedures fail to effect a substantial improvement.
