Abstract

• One of the more unusual forms of supernumerary breast tissue is characterized by the presence of areolar tissue only. The case presented describes a patient with three supernumerary areolae, including one located outside the embryonic milk line. There is a possibility that this finding represents an atavistic phenomenon.
