Abstract

To the Editor:—  We enjoyed the article by Ordóñez and Smith1 in the October issue of the Archives. They suggested that their observation of cutaneous metastases of malignant mesothelioma was unique in the literature. We agree with the authors regarding the rarity of such cutaneous manifestations. However, we2 described a case of asbestos-induced pleural mesothelioma with cutaneous metastases to the scalp. This was the first time we saw cutaneous metastases of pleural mesothelioma.
