Abstract

• Transepidermal elimination of foreign material or altered tissue from the dermis has been reported in the literature with increasing frequency. We recently observed a rather dramatic example of transepidermal elimination of altered collagen that seemed to fit the original description of collagènome perforant verruciforme. Although described in Europe, to our knowledge, this entity has not been reported in the American literature.
