Abstract

To the Editor.—  I wish to correct the statement made on page 1165 of my article in the October 1986 issue of the Archives.1 I stated "Phaeohyphomycosis is a term originally proposed by McGinnis et al.46" Actually, the term was first proposed by Ajello et al,2 but expanded on in two recent publications, one by McGinnis et al (reference 46 in my article), the other by Ajello and McGinnis.3 The former article was chosen as a reference for the expanded definition because of its easier access by dermatologists.
