Test Concentrations and Vehicles, by Anton de Groot, is a reference book that contains recommended patch-test concentrations and vehicles for 2800 contact allergens. De Groot compiled these recommendations from major textbooks of dermatology, textbooks on contact dermatitis, the patch-test recommendations of the International Contact Dermatitis Group, and the North American Contact Dermatitis Group, and by reviewing all volumes of the journal Contact Dermatitis. The recommendations are contained in a 250-page "table" in which chemicals are listed in alphabetical order. The table also provides synonyms for each chemical, and the synonyms are cross-referenced in the table. In a separate table, de Groot provides patch-test recommendations for a variety of products such as tape, carbon paper, cosmetics, lemon peel, and many others. There are also lists of chemicals that cause contact photosensitivity, contact urticaria, and patch-test sensitization.Alphabetical listing and extensive cross-referencing make it quite easy to find information in
