Abstract

Matters of Moment in Dermatopathology: A Conference.—  The International Society of Dermatopathology announces that its 13th Colloquium, "Matters of Moment in Dermatopathology," directed by John C. Maize and A. Bernard Ackerman, will be held on June 11 and 12, 1992, in New York, NY, immediately preceding the 18th World Congress of Dermatology. Among the topics discussed will be new methods for diagnosis in dermatopathology, such as immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, molecular genetics, and polymerase chain reaction; the question of diagnosis with specificity in problems such as small- and large-plaque parapsoriasis, metastasizing Spitz's nevus, and lymphadenoma; special lectures about tuberculids; and a presentation entitled "The Diagnosis I Missed From Which I Learned Most."
