Dr. Powers counsels the following procedure which, of course, is applicable only to male children. He seals the orifice of the prepucial orifice with collodium, at the moment of retiring. If only a small amount is passed, the prepuce will be found slightly distended in the morning. If the desire to urinate wakens the child, he can easily remove the film himself. By this method, Powers has rapidly obtained, sometimes in fifteen days, complete suppression of nocturnal incontinence.
The procedure is so simple as to merit a trial.
