Abstract

Dr S. K. Goolamali, a consultant dermatologist in London, England, has produced a small question-and-answer exercise book that focuses on the skin manifestations of internal disease. It is aimed at medical students and nondermatologist practicing physicians. The book consists of 10 "papers," each of which is made up of 20 multiple-choice questions followed by answers that are two to three paragraphs long. Each paper concludes with a "further reading" list made up of a series of references. This softcover book would easily fit into the pocket of an examining coat, its measurements being 7×4.5 in.

This book serves several functions. For those who like to learn by question and answer rather than by reading page after page from a textbook, this book will be enjoyable. For medical students, and medical residents preparing for general medicine multiplechoice examinations, this series of questions and answers should provide them with the necessary base
