THIS YEAR marks the 10th anniversary of the Annual Trainee Award. Instituted in 1987, the award is given to the dermatology resident or fellow who was the first author for the most meritorious original research article published in the ARCHIVES from January through December of a given year. Starting with articles published in 1995, we plan to formally present the award at the colloquium of residents held during the annual meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology. The award recipient will be given a certificate of commendation, $100, and a copy of the centennial issue of the Archives.
