Histologic examination of the biopsy specimen showed 3 nodular tumors composed of islands of basaloid cells without peripheral pallisading or stromal clefting. The basaloid cells showed conspicuous mitotic activity in the absence of severe nuclear pleomorphism or prominent nucleoli. Scattered clusters of sebaceous cells were seen. Keratocysts were also observed within the tumor, which was connected to the overlying epidermis. Our patient did not have any signs or symptoms that were suggestive of visceral malignant neoplasms. She declined to undergo surgical excision and was subsequently unavailable for follow-up.
