We describe a novel technique whereby the dorsal aspects of the upper lateral cartilages are infolded and sutured to the nasal septum as a component of reduction rhinoplasty. This maneuver provides a cantilever-like effect on the internal nasal valve while simultaneously achieving a smooth, even contour over the nasal dorsum. Visit a video demonstrating this technique.
