To the Editor We have studied the article by Ratnarathorn and colleagues,1 which used computer technology and an online survey platform to request random individuals to identify the aesthetic outcomes of “virtual” 2-dimensional scars placed on the faces of white persons. We would like to comment on the study from the perspective of 3 experienced facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons.
