Facial plastic surgery Web sites are now commonplace. They vary greatly
in content and purpose, ranging from those that offer simple information about
a physician's practice to more complex sites that offer telemedicine applications
and e-commerce. The evolution of the Web presents practitioners with new opportunities
to improve the health of their patients; however, using the Internet to supplement
the practice of facial plastic surgery requires that professionals use it
ethically and responsibly.
