We are pleased that our report has stimulated their efforts to further analyze the Glasgow University data using cutpoints based on the JNC-VI,1 with findings similar to ours. Blood pressure measured in young adulthood predicts long-term risk for coronary, cardiovascular, and all-cause mortality.
