The authors of the accompanying letter question whether interleukin 2 treatment could have increased viral replication and loss of initial virologic control resulting from antiretroviral therapy. The data presented in Figure 4 of our article showed that there were no differences in viral load at week 60 and 84 by treatment arm.1
