This little book contains a comprehensive review of the pharmacology of penicillin. The author's interest in the tubular blocking of penicillin excretion takes him over into the pharmacology of carinamide, which is certainly of interest, although the edge has been taken off the clinical use of blocking substances since slowly absorbed preparations of penicillin have been devised.
