Recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary diseases make it imperative that adequate study of patients with pulmonary disease be carried out. It is, however, difficult for the practicing physician to find a description of the tests of pulmonary function and their application to clinical conditions. This booklet does this in an admirable manner. By reading this short monograph, one is immediately brought up to date on the current status of pulmonary function tests. It is highly recommended.
