In recent years the advances in karyological techniques have stimulated interest in mammalian chromosomes. This handy, loose-leaf compendium of 50 plates contains the karyotypes of 50 mammals, with appropriate descriptions. It is the intention of the authors to add 50 new species each year for eventual collation into taxonomic groups. It is clearly printed, easy to use, and an essential addition to the shelves on genetics.
