This book represents a most successful effort by the author to present, in one concise and complete work, a discussion covering all organs in which pneumoradiography can be used in the field of diagnostic radiography.
It is unfortunate that pneumoradiography is not more widely used since gas is a very handy medium and does not impose the danger of reactions that attends the use of various opaque media. Unfortunately pneumoradiography is not used extensively in the United States. It would do us all good to study this fine presentation by Doctor Lacroix with the intention of adapting these procedures more in our diagnostic work.
Although the radiographs throughout the book are positives (as is the European method of presentation), they are of excellent quality and representative of the diagnostic versatility of pneumoradiography, which are described in the text.
The book has 11 separate sections covering general considerations on pneumoradiographic technique,
