This book consists of the proceedings of a symposium held at the Boston State Hospital. It is mostly a transcription of conversations between representatives of general practice and psychiatry. There is essentially no didactic content, and no new knowledge is included. There is a brief review of some existing programs for teaching psychiatry to general practitioners. The book is a disappointment.
