Abstract

The relationship of central nervous system activity to various organ system function is a prime concern to the internist. Often the mediating pathway is via the autonomie division of the nervous system. We have asked Dr. James to serve as guest editor of a series of reviews detailing autonomie activity and the first of these series of articles appears below.
