"Chronic Pyelonephritis" as a Cause of Massive Proteinuria (? Nephrotic Syndrome)

Five patients with "chronic pyelonephritis," diagnosed on the basis of clinical, roentgenographic, and histologic data, in whom the disease was associated with a large protein excretion in the urine, are presented. Average 24 hour protein excretion was 3.0 to 7.7 gm.
