Abstract

This is the latest and one of the most comprehensive treatises on current cardiovascular practice. It is extremely broad in scope. The text's most outstanding feature is an effort to integrate clinical practice with the latest developments in the basic sciences related to cardiac and vascular diseases. It is a superb guide for the resident in training, as well as for the cardiologist who completed his training a few years ago and needs an excellent "refresher course" to bring him up to date on new developments in the numerous disciplines focused on cardiac and vascular diseases.
