The idea of reviewing three books dealing with diabetes as a trilogy is certainly a logical and appealing one. Accordingly, it held much promise until these three books had been read. Certainly, the three do not make up anything that resembles The Lord of the Rings nor Studs Lonigan, since the only thread running through the three books is the subject of diabetes.
The Diabetic Foot should clearly enjoy the most outstanding success of these three publications. This is a well thought-out, solidly presented publication edited by Drs. Levin and O'Neal that very neatly fills an important void
