Abstract

In Reply.—  Dr Miller and I are in agreement except for his suggestion that I favor dirty colons. This silly notion was not emphasized nor implied in my article. What I do favor is a reduction in the strenuousness of routine purging. I am overjoyed to learn of the clean-colon task force, and I wish them prompt and complete success.
