Abstract

They begin with an overview the physiology of glucose metabol and its relationship to insulin other hormones and cover in de receptor and postreceptor defects[ill]

The basic scientific review is lowed by the approach to the tr[ill] ment of diabetes mellitus and rela[ill] conditions associated with altered [ill] cose metabolism. While this boo[ill] aimed primarily at endocrinolog[ill] and physicians specializing in di[ill] tes, it is also an excellent refere[ill] source for scientists in diabetes search, primary care internists, P[ill] atricians, and specialists in fa[ill] medicine.
